While I did not stay the night, Borchers has been a family favorite for kayaking trips. Their staff is friendly, helpful, and polite. Their apparel is also very high quality and low price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great, affordable trip down the river.

This is our 3rd visit in a year at Borchers Bed & Breakfast. We love it. The house is cozy and our host, Cheri, is the perfect operator of a B&B. She makes every breakfast for us by hand while you enjoy coffee by one of two fireplaces. She makes you feel right at home and cares that your visit is one-of-a-kind. We will be back in January.
Nothing wrong with the kayak rental, but be forewarned. There may be some serious arguments between husband and wife while in the canoe ;) my husband and I learned maybe we should not canoe together, but seriously, I would recommend the longer trip, it's not that far and it really gets more peaceful and beautiful in the second part
